About
Built for the people who keep grassroots sport going.
PatronNow is made by ULU Studio Ltd, a small software company in Manchester. We build tools for clubs and the communities around them.
Why this exists
Most club sponsorship is run by volunteers, in the evenings, from a phone. The offer is a conversation, the agreement is an email, the invoice is a spreadsheet row, and the proof that the sponsor got what they paid for is a memory. When the treasurer changes, it all goes with them.
PatronNow gives each of those steps a proper home: a clear offer, a proposal the sponsor accepts with a click, an invoice that is paid straight to the club's account, and a record of what was delivered. Nothing clever. Just the boring parts done properly, so the relationship can be about the club.
What we believe
Sponsorship is a relationship, and relationships go better with a clear record. Both sides should be able to see the same facts. Money should go directly to the club, not through us. The core tools should be free, because a club's first sponsor should not cost it anything.
Who we are
ULU Studio Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17259257, at Swan Building, 20 Swan Street, Manchester M4 5JW. We also make CricketNow, for cricket clubs. You can reach us at info@patronnow.app.
Where things stand
PatronNow is a new product. We would rather tell you plainly what it does today than promise what it might do. If something you need is missing, say so: the roadmap is shaped by the clubs and sponsors using it.
Today, a club can plan what its season needs, publish its sponsorship opportunities, take enquiries, send proposals that freeze on acceptance, invoice and collect payment straight to its own account, record what was delivered and share a report with the sponsor. Sponsors can keep everything clubs share with them in a free workspace.
Next, we are working on renewals and exporting your records. Later, we want to help clubs and businesses find each other, and to report on the social reach and value of a sponsorship for both sides. None of that is live yet, and we will not describe it as if it were.
We are starting with grassroots sport, but the same tools already work for events, arts organisations, charities and community groups.
