Make a clear offer
Set out your kit, pitch-side and matchday packages clearly, on a public page sponsors can read and enquire from.
Agree the details
Send a specific proposal to a specific business. When they accept, both sides keep a copy of the fixed terms. If the details need to change, send a new proposal.
Keep track of money
Issue the invoice from the agreement. Sponsors can pay online by card or bank; the club receives the payout after applicable fees. You can record offline payments too.
Show what was delivered
Each agreed benefit has a record the sponsor can open. When you ask them back, both sides can see what they received.

Set a target for a season, an event or an appeal. Split it into funding areas, add the assets and opportunities you will offer, and PatronNow keeps count as sponsorships are agreed and paid.

Sponsors can review proposals, pay invoices and see delivery updates through private links. They do not need an account.
The same tools work for events, arts organisations and community groups.

Pay as you go: a 4% PatronNow fee per online payment, capped at £250, plus payment processing.
Or £20 a month / £200 a year for 0% PatronNow commission. Payment processing still applies.
On pay as you go, there is no subscription and no charge unless you collect an online payment. Recording payments received directly is free.
The sponsor pays the invoice amount. Applicable fees are deducted from the club’s payout. Processing is passed on at cost, with no mark-up.
The PatronNow fee is capped at £250 per online payment.
On pay as you go, a £6,250 payment and a £10,000 payment each carry a £250 PatronNow fee. Processing is additional and can differ by payment amount and method.
Will PatronNow find us sponsors?
Not today. PatronNow gives your club a page you can send, and a way to run the sponsors you already have. Helping clubs and businesses find each other is on our roadmap; we will say so here when it works. Where things stand.
Is PatronNow just for sports clubs?
Grassroots sport is our focus for launch. The same tools also work for arts organisations, events and community groups, and the businesses supporting them.
What can I use for free?
The core sponsorship tools and the sponsoring workspace are free. On pay as you go, online collection carries a 4% PatronNow fee, capped at £250 per payment, plus processing. An optional paid subscription removes the PatronNow commission; processing still applies. Recording money received directly is free.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your club’s own Stripe account, which you connect during setup. PatronNow never holds the money. A bank transfer or cash payment can be recorded on the invoice, and that costs nothing.
What if our treasurer leaves?
The sponsors, agreements, invoices and delivery records stay with the club. An admin invites the new treasurer as an admin from Team & access; once they have joined, the old admin can be removed. If the only admin has already left, contact us from a club address and we will verify and help.
Can I manage sponsors I already have?
Yes. Bring your existing relationships into one place and organise their opportunities, agreed terms and invoices.
Do our sponsors need an account?
No. Proposals, terms, invoices and reports work from private links sent to their email. Businesses can also use a free workspace for documents shared by their clubs. How to get started as a sponsor.
